The Dogs Who Made Us

What started with one rescue trip in March 2024 has grown into countless miles, sleepless nights, second chances, happy endings, and a family that continues to grow.

Since March 2024, Rides 4 Paws Rescue has had the privilege of stepping in for dogs who needed someone in their corner. Some came from overcrowded shelters and were running out of time. Some were surrendered when their families could no longer care for them. Others came to us scared, neglected, medically fragile, or simply needing a safe place to land.

They didn’t all arrive ready for adoption.

Some needed medical care. Some needed training and structure. Some needed time to decompress and learn that people could be trusted. And some needed a permanent place to call home when traditional adoption wasn’t the right answer.

But every one of them mattered.

This page is dedicated to the dogs who have been part of our story—the ones who found their forever families, the ones still waiting, and the sanctuary dogs who found their forever with us.

Every photo below represents a life that changed our rescue just as much as we changed theirs.
